She is a historian by training, researcher and author of a few books on the Holocaust in Lithuania. She is working on her PhD on the communication of the Holocaust memorial sites at the Faculty of Communication, Vilnius University where she is a lecturer of communication of traumatic memory and cultural heritage as well. She has published several articles on the memorialization of traumatic past in Lithuania. Her current research combines practical and theoretical challenges on transmission of traumatic unspoken memories.
